Question:Does the Trimble ACU come with an adapter?
I'd like to buy the Trimble ACU, but I need to know if it comes with the adaptor so that I can put it on my 5600?

The Trimble ACU does not require an adapter to be placed on the 5600 series of instruments. The TCU does take an adapter plate however. With the ACU, you can place the data collector directly to the instrument or remove it and place it on a robotic holder to run the instrument from the rod. Additionally, the data collector can be used to run Trimble GPS.
