WE BOUGHT A R8 GPS RECEIVER WITH BLUETOOTH AND GSM RADIO.THE UNIT WAS MANUFACTURED IN 08. WOULD THIS BE A MODEL 2 AND GNSS CAPABLE RECEIEVER.

The product model will be determined by a part number located on the bottom of the radio module next to the module's part number. The original R8 part number was 50158-XX. The R8 Model-2 has two part numbers, the first part number changing after the RoHS intiative began (Restrictions on Hazardous Materials - primarily removing lead from solder). 60158-XX and 60250-XX are both R8 Model-2 part numbers.
