This two-section ash/aluminum laser rod extends to 10 feet (3 m) and retracts to 5.4 feet (1.6 m). The face section carries a graduated, endless 10-foot stainless steel band which runs over Delrin end rollers to bring any reading into view. The heavy duty band and hardware are stainless steel and do not rust. The back section carries a clamp for holding the rod when extended and a latch for locking the band in any required position. It comes with a side rail for connecting an optional sensor bracket.
