The mag mount features a sleeker, more modern design and the stainless steel material used in construction makes it lighter than previous versions. Using a new spring design, there's now more flex to the magnets, so it now works better on curved surfaces. The 5114-01 includes a quick release adapter (#5111-00) to allow quicker attachment of the GPS antenna.
